Introduction This application demonstrates JPA-SCPI Parser in action. At the heart of this application is exactly the same JPA-SCPI Parser as you will be given. By trying out the various options in this demo, you will be able to see the different functions of JPA-SCPI Parser at work. What does the Demo Application do? The demo emulates an instrument that supports SCPI.

You enter command lines that emulate the command lines that the instrument receives via its comm port(s).

The JPA-SCPI Parser inside the demo app then parses the commands. The results of the parsing are displayed on-screen.

The demo makes use of the access functions of JPA-SCPI Parser. The results of each of the functions can also be shown on-screen in order to demonstrate their use.

As well as demonstrating the capabilities of JPA-SCPI Parser, this demo application is also a good way of understanding how to use JPA-SCPI Parser in your own applications.

System Requirements

• The demonstration application runs on a PC under any 32-bit version of Microsoft Windows, e.g. Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, or XP.

• Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view the User Manual.

• If your PC has not got Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 or above installed, you may need to download and install the Microsoft Common Controls Update from the Microsoft website:
